Our Team. Our Values. Our Commitment to You.

Who we are

If it turns, lifts, or moves your product, we’re the ones you call to keep your equipment, crews, and operations in motion.

We're a crew of millwrights, welders, industrial electricians, and mechanics. Every one of us put in years in the field and on the floor before CMS ever existed — and that's the experience we bring to every job.

Since 2015, we’ve delivered trusted solutions in millwright services, industrial equipment repair, custom fabrication, mechanical maintenance, and electrical work across Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba—with projects completed across Western Canada.

Custom builds, installs, maintenance, or last-minute repairs—if it keeps your operation moving, we’re on it.

Our Values:

Humble

We let the work do the talking.

Honest

We tell you what needs fixing — and what doesn't.

Hardworking

Whatever it takes to keep you moving.

Owner of Custom Millwright Services Ltd.

Ryan Knutson

My journey began over eleven years ago when working for a company that provided maintenance and repair services for grain facilities all across western Canada. In 2015 I was presented with the opportunity to become a partner in this company; I bought in and from there, Custom Millwright Services Ltd. was born.

“One of the best aspects of being a locally owned and operated company is the friendships that are formed as we are given the opportunity to supply the service and support our communities need.”

By 2019, our client base had grown substantially, extending our services across Western Canada. We are fortunate and blessed to have built strong relationships with our valued customers over the years and will continue to provide the exceptional service and quality work that they have come to expect for as long as we are given the opportunity.
